Welcome to the course! In this short Intro section, we'll be covering the tools you'll need, what to expect from the course, and choosing your project for the course. 

The project for the course could either be a personal design project you're working on or interested in starting, or the project prompt for this session. 

Throughout the course, you'll be:

✹ Creating the vision for the project.

✹ Learning about where to start, plan, layout, and design the space/building.

✹ Designing both your floor plan(s) and elevations (interior or exterior).

✹ Making sure your design is functional & feasible for the budget.

✹ Refining the design & creating a complete finished vision. 

Vision

This module will be all about defining the purpose of the design and envisioning what it will be like through the creation of mood boards and wordplay. 

Elements

In this module, you'll create your project's brief, learn about flow, space arrangement, and proper sizing of spaces all while getting familiar with computer drawing software. Don't worry, we'll take it step by step 😊

Assembly

This module will take you step by step designing in detail your floor plan and also your elevations with live feedback along the way.   

Refinement & Presentation

In this module, we'll be evaluating costs and project feasibility for you to have a good understanding of what can be built. We will talk about specifying finishes, sourcing materials, and fixtures. At the end of this module, you'll have learned how to develop captivating visuals to illustrate your design and create a presentation.
